Wood Product Care Instructions

Following these care instructions is important for maintaining your product and preserving your limited warranty coverage. Failure to follow these instructions may void the manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Proper Maintenance & Storage

• Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap. Do not soak or submerge for extended periods.
• Dry immediately and thoroughly with a clean towel, then allow to air-dry completely before storing.
• Do not use in the dishwasher, microwave, oven, or freezer unless specifically approved by Cangshan for that use. Unauthorized use may void the limited warranty.
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, heat, and excessive moisture. Do not store while damp, as prolonged moisture may cause warping, cracking, staining, or microbial growth.
• For unfinished or regularly used wood products, apply a food-safe wood conditioner or mineral oil to help maintain the wood and prevent drying.

Food Preparation Precautions

• Use only for the intended food preparation purpose. Clean thoroughly before first use and after each use.
• Do not use if deep cracks, excessive splitting, severe warping, or an inadequately cleanable surface develops.
• To reduce cross-contamination, consider using separate wood products for raw meats and ready-to-eat foods.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach solutions, or abrasive cleaners, as doing so may damage the product and void the limited warranty.
