OLYMPUS Series 36-Piece Knife Block Set, Forged German Steel

I wrote a 4 star review earlier but this website decided not to post it. I'm not sure what the policy is for reviews or how long it takes for them to be posted. Thus I'm testing it with this review. I'm giving it five stars to see if my review will be posted immediately, being my 4 star review didn't show. Maybe they need to be reviewed before the company allows them on the website, which is sketchy.

Anyways I must say, I love my 17 piece knife set that I bought from Costco. However, I do not love that within 7 months the handle on my knife cracked. Being I got the white set, it is very noticeable. The company prides itself on reliable and durable materials, with a lifetime warranty. If that is the case, why did the handle crack after 7 months and only 5 actual uses. This makes zero sense being I only hand washed and dried after every use. I expected more from this company. Again the knifes are beautiful, but maybe don't buy the white handled ones because the black handled ones will hide the cracks in the handles better. Especially if that is only with one knife after 7 months. I'm afraid to see what happens to the others in time. . .
